“Bridget came to me in a moment of desperation – my dog walker and house sitter of five years moved to California. I have two dogs and a cat – my one dog, Sonny Boy, is my gorgeous and highly intelligent German Shepherd – whom I adopted at seven months old. Sonny Boy is a love, but until he knows you he is very protective of the house and family, and, is also reactive to other dogs and cats. My other dog is almost 13 and is my baby, so letting anyone care for her requires a great deal of trust on my part. Bridget took in all this information like a professional, and, was also very kind. I remember so clearly her saying, as I was talking about my shepherd Sonny’s issues, “I have to get to know him myself …” and I loved that … she wanted a relationship with him, unhindered by his past, by even by what I said … to understand him … and, my heart had some hope.
“Bridget has worked for me weekly for ten months (I commute to NYC), recently staying at my house, when I unexpectedly had to go to California for a week. She tolerates my need to text every day to see how the ‘kids’ are and my doting on my thirteen-year-old mutt. She has administered medicines, and many supplements, and is always there doing her best. I am so grateful to have met Bridget, and to have her be part of our family – I highly recommend Bridget to anyone who is looking for a professional, loving dog walker or pet sitter – even if you have a difficult dog, do not despair. Have them talk to my Sonny Boy, he’ll tell them how she reached his heart and soul, and taught him to trust.”
